Weekly Gratitude List

gratitude

It’s Monday, which means it’s time for another Weekly Gratitude List.

The past couple of weeks have been pretty full on; it's always a bit crazy heading into the festive season, right? While things have started to calm down a little (introversion things), I am glad I've put myself out there a bit more than usual. Here are some of the things I am grateful for at the moment.

  • A weekend away visiting my youngest sister - last weekend we took a little road trip and spent the night at my sister's (she lives about an hour and a half away). It was the first time I had been to her place, and I loved it We spent Saturday exploring the city she lives in and playing board games, and on Sunday we went to the local gardens.

  • The latest Astral Box - This month's Astral Box was the 'balance box'; when I saw the reveal, I knew I had to get it, so restarted my subscription. I'm happy I did because I love everything that was inside the box (I'll be doing a review soon; you can read my reviews of other boxes here).

  • Awesome secondhand store deals - while thrifting over the weekend, my husband found a sewing machine, and I found a couple of other things including a brand new, from the Disney store Chip mug (it still had its price sticker attached); we ended up getting everything for the price of the sewing machine.- while thrifting over the weekend, Phillip found a sewing machine, and I found a couple of other things including a brand new, from the Disney store Chip mug (it still had its price sticker attached); we ended up getting everything for the price of the sewing machine.

  • Awesome customer service experiences - I often feel that companies don't get enough credit when they get something right. Shout to Essano an Astral Collective for dealing with my amusing issues quickly, professionally, and being all around awesome.

  • I’m making my first batch of calendula oil - I have it sitting in a paper bag on the windowsill in the living room; if it works, I’ll share the recipe I used with you.

  • Regular journaling - I have started journaling again; I try to write in my journall each morning when I wake up, and each evening before I go to bed. Its helped a lot, especially in regards to working through my feelings and getting in touch with my creative side; it’s been amazing.
